Call them ugly if you will - but I call them my favorite shoes! In fact i had a pink pair that I wore to DEATH. Literally, they were dead and I was forced by my embarrassed friends and family to part with them. RIP Magenta Moccasins :(

Anywho! I think they make a great gift (even if it is just for me). And they are reasonably priced, I mean, you can wear them to death. Well, get your $'s worth - so why not!?

Monday

GIFT GUIDE . COUTURE

Wine! Yes, wine. What would any holiday or occasion be without it? - and, because it's in abundance it can be very inexpensive. Now, I'm no connoisseur but I'm sure if you go to any Wine & Spirits or quaint little Winery on the nearest city street you'll find something. nymag.com suggested : Old Vines Zinfandel by St. Francis for just $16. And even if it's just a year old it's still considered vintage, right?

Pair the gift of wine with a sweet box of chocolates or your favorite holiday candy. Bean to Bar by Jaques Torres was also suggested by nymag.com for just $6!

Gift Cards - possibly the easiest gift to give, no wrapping or wonder if her butt will look fat in it. They're as good as cash but just a bit more classy.

You don't need to break the bank with them either. A $15 gift card to Duunkin Donuts or CVS or even to the local gas station will go along way. A $15 itunes gift card is worth a whole album (minus the songs you will skip over).

And, for the dancing enthused recipient, how about a gift card for a dance class - maybe 2!
Most dance schools accept walk-ins and you can pay for the class(es) in advance.

BRRRRR! One of the primal indications of winter is the drop in the temperature. What better way to keep warm than, sipping on a hot soothing beverage, right?

But, be couture about it! Give someone a fun looking thermos, it's also economical too! ;-)
Some coffee shops, will reduce the price of your drink if you bring in your own thermos.

And, if you get the kind that keeps cold drinks cold - it's perfect year round.

I saw a bunch of great thermos' in Marshall's home department all under $8
